The hardcore, rubble and asphalt collected by our grabs is repurposed for recycled aggregate production. We produce our recycled aggregate, iBlend, a Type 1, crushed primary/recycled blended aggregate at our Butser Quarry. It is ideal for use in ground engineering projects such as sub base layers for roads, hard standings and access areas.

This process is great for the environment as it allows the unwanted materials to be reused rather than going to landfill, and it also means that fewer primary materials, such as limestone, are being used, conserving those levels.
