TJ supplies thousands of tonnes of bulk recycled fills to key clients every year. We’re a reliable and competitively-priced supplier and 2020-21 saw unprecedented demand for these types of aggregates, a trend that is continuing.
We produce a crushed primary/recycled blended aggregate at Butser Quarry called iBlend, a non-frost susceptible Type 1 aggregate.
It is ideal for use in ground engineering projects such as sub base layers for roads, hard standings and access areas. It is a much more cost effective alternative to primary sub base materials, which are not only more expensive, but also harder to get hold of in the Hampshire and surrounding areas as the nearest crushed rock sources are in the Mendips, making transportation costs much higher.
ACCESSIBILITY AND PRICING
As iBlend is produced at Butser Quarry near Petersfield, it’s easy and cost-effective for Hampshire, West Sussex and Berkshire-based companies to access. The nature of the blended materials is such that it is fast-moving and therefore reasonably straightforward to get hold of quickly.
IBlend offers a cost saving and due to a lower compacted bulk density, it also means that less material is needed compared to primary aggregates such as limestone or granite. This represents a significant saving, which is something to bear in mind if the budget is tight. Please contact us for a price or get an online quote today.
QUALITY, GUARANTEED
We carry out full testing on our range of processed recycled aggregates to ensure our products are fit for purpose and comply with industry standards. We hold test certificates and approvals which illustrate that our aggregates are high calibre and that our production quality is good.
EASY RUBBLE DISPOSAL
All construction companies, contractors and those in the building industry are invited to dispose of their unwanted demolition waste such as concrete, bricks, paving slabs, asphalt breakout and stone at any time at our registered waste site at Butser Quarry near Petersfield during opening hours and as often as they need.
This is a great initiative as not only is it diverting building waste from landfill, but it’s also putting these unwanted materials to good use. We’re open 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday – please get in touch to discuss your disposal needs.
